Mystery Halloween Cat & Dog Set

I have been trying to be good and stick to my collections – Lion King, Thumper, Brave, Castles and Phineas and Ferb. I saw the Halloween Cat & Dog mystery set online and was sitting on my hands but I loved it.

When my friends over at Pinsane were in Disneyland and offered pickups of the pouches I could not say no and asked them to pick me up 3 pouches. I opened them and got 2 identical pouches. I ended up getting 8 pins in the set, but having seen them in person I had to get the complete set!

I had started looking to trade for the missing pins, however when I saw that the Disney Store was selling them I decided to order another couple of pouches. I waited patiently for them to arrive. Unfortunately, Disney Store failed to meet their promises of delivery and they arrived much later than expected.

I was excited to open the pouches and managed to get an additional 4 pins from that I was needing to complete my set. I then managed to set up trades to get the final ones I needed and today they arrived in the post and I have now managed to complete this set.

As an animal lover this set just appealed to me combined with Disney and the Monorail and Maleficent just jumped out at me saying, “collect me”!

The set comprises of the following pins, I’ve also included links to Pinpics, which is the database I use to attempt to keep track of my collection. This is the one I have used since I first started collecting pins back in 2000.

I have to admit that this is one of my favourite sets that is not part of my main collections.

My next problem is how to display them but I have an idea in my head, stay tuned for that update.
